Subaru Loves to Care: Giving Back to Cancer Patients in Clarksville, TN

At Wyatt Johnson Subaru, we believe in making a difference – not just on the road, but right here in our community. That’s why we were proud to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. On June 18, 2025, the Wyatt Johnson Subaru team donated 80 blankets, patient care kits, and handwritten messages of hope to cancer patients to Tennova Healthcare right here in Clarksville.

A Heartfelt Initiative

This year marks a decade of partnership between Subaru and LLS. Together, the two organizations have touched the lives of nearly 350,000 cancer patients nationwide since 2016. At Wyatt Johnson Subaru, we’re honored to be a part of this incredible legacy.

“Subaru Loves to Care is more than a promise; it’s a commitment to bring comfort, hope and love to those who need it most,” said Sonja Harrell, Subaru Love Promise Coordinator for Wyatt Johnson Subaru. “Thanks to Subaru and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), myself along with my amazing general manager, Lindsay Perales, were able to visit our local hospital, Tennova Healthcare, to make a difference in our community.”

“We were able to donate 80 blankets, patient care kits and handwritten messages of hope that went directly to cancer patients,” said Sonja. “Lindsay has a heart of gold. It means so much to have a General Manager who leads not just with vision, but with heart. Her commitment to the Subaru Love Promise shows in every act of care and effort to make a difference in our community. It is truly an honor to be a part of something so meaningful. This was my first year participating in the Subaru Loves to Care initiative and I look forward to doing this for years to come.”
